Melody Gambino

Leader, Marketer, and Coach in Denver, CO

Allow me to introduce myself:

My area of expertise is in building strong strategic marketing teams for software and technology companies. I live in Denver and am from NYC, I'm a pint-sized powerhouse of growth and brand prowess.

20 years of practice:

I am a global marketing leader with expertise in demand generation and ABM programs, strategic planning, marketing operations, campaign management, enhancing the customer journey and lifecycle marketing, product marketing and sales enablement, brand and category creation, digital and social media footprints, and partnership with my buds in sales, product and customer success.

A T-shaped marketer, I obsess about the commercial and employment brand. I'm a customer-centric empath marketer, demonstrated throughout my career in supporting acquisitions and growth strategy, delivering on revenue targets, increasing customer engagement, creating ambassador and reference programs and launching strong employment brand initiatives. Prove it? Fine. This 25 minute webinar is my take on maxing out your investment in growth efforts by personalizing content by personas. TL;DR: Content's not about the software but your customer's needs, streamlining and simplifying processes, and building integrated and impactful online and offline experiences that resonate when it's time to buy.

My background lies in building and leading global departmental marketing teams, customer insights and intelligence that lead to fine-tuned value propositions, and automating the sales and marketing process that lead to established objectives and ROI. I've built teams from scratch and bespoke to the company's goals and KPIs and come into established large teams to modernize their efforts.

My mom says I'm amazing:

I founded, and later became president of, the NYC chapter of mBolden (formerly Women in Wireless, acquired by SheRunsIt). Because of my ability to lead and nurture global marketing teams that were built on data-driven marketing principles, DM News inducted me into the Marketing Hall of Fame in 2016, MarTech Today's Women to Watch in 2018 and I was named to Business Journal's 40 under 40 in 2019. I am an experienced author and thought leader, featured in Forbes, MarketingLand, MarTech Today, The Huffington Post, BrightTalk, Inc. and enjoyed the opportunity to speak at industry and trade conferences, DEI panels, webcasts, and podcasts:

To say that Melody is a wonderful leader, teammate, and human being would be a gross understatement: she is so much more than that. In her short time leading our Marketing department, Melody created an environment of trust, accountability, and transparency that didn't exist before and brought an honest and creative perspective to an organization that badly needed it. Her ability to recognize talent and act quickly to get the right people doing the right jobs is second to none.

Melody was a great business leader I had the privilege of working with. She has a unique ability to combine strategic insights with bigger picture thinking, to bring thoughtful and impactful programs to market. Focusing on business outcomes by driving cross functional collaboration, combined with her commitment to grow and develop her team make her invaluable marketing and business leader at any company.

When I asked Melody to help me to improve the employee brand, I there was little to zero budget. What we had was fantastic talent, a great product and Melody’s vision. After 3 weeks Melody delivered a recruitment campaign that shaped the foundations of who we went on to be. I will always thank her for helping me to attract the best technical, creative and sales talent in the AdTech sphere.
